J2Fit Merchandise Area

The hardest part of this project wasn’t the install.. it was getting the 7-foot panels from my house to the gym.

Not having a truck made it about a thousand times harder, but we had a goal and figured it out anyway.

Like with any project, the first step was clearing out the space.

I needed a blank canvas before anything else could happen.

The real challenge came once the panels were on site.

The wall was concrete, and even though the panels weren’t heavy, figuring out how to mount them properly took some thought.

I ended up using Tapcon screws, which are made for cement, and used a box to support the panels while I secured them to the wall.

This definitely would’ve been easier with an extra set of hands, but I don’t really have the patience for that so I made it work.

Once the panels were up, it was time to style the space and bring everything together. Seeing it all come together made the extra effort worth it.

All things considered, it came out pretty nice!
